Q. What is the cost of attending CESL and what is included?
A. The cost for each seven-week session is $1495 and for each six-week session is $1280. The cost includes instruction, computer lab, language lab, orientation, library privileges, University of Oklahoma activity privileges, use of facilities, and International Student Services.

Q. How do I apply to CESL?
A. Complete the CESL application form and the Confidential Financial Affidavit and return them to CESL, 1700 Asp Ave., Suite 202 Norman, Oklahoma. 73072-6400 USA. A $75 processing fee is required. Your I-20 will be sent by express mail.

Q. Can I pay with my credit card?
A. You can pay with cash, check, credit card, or money order.

Q. How many students do you have in your program and what are the class sizes?
A. CESL averages 70-90 students. Class size is 12 students or less and we serve beginning through advanced levels of instruction.

Q. How many hours of instruction are there per week?
A. Students receive 25 hours of instruction per week.

Q. Do I have to buy health insurance from the University?
A. All international students in CESL must be covered by a hospitalization and accident insurance policy. A policy must be purchased through the University if the student is not covered.

Q. Is homestay available?
A. Yes. There is a link on the CESL website.

Q. Do I have to have a certain TOEFL score to be admitted to CESL?
A. No, but to be admitted to the University of Oklahoma, you must have a 500 TOEFL score and then complete two consecutive sessions at CESL.

Q. Is CESL located on campus?
A. Yes.

Q. Once I arrive in Norman, do I need to register with immigration?
A. Yes, and CESL will assist you in registering with immigration during orientation.

Q. Is there a bus service in the city of Norman?
A. Yes. It serves the University campus as well as the community.
